We are currently recruiting 2 full time Membership Administrators.
The Musicians' Union (MU) is the UK trade union for musicians and represents over 35,000 musicians across the UK working in all sectors of the music business.
As well as negotiating on behalf of our members with all the major employers in the industry, we offer a range of support services for professional and student musicians of all ages and backgrounds.
The Membership Administrators are the first point of contact for membership related online, email, phone and post enquiries.
They process online membership modifications and applications, as well as taking payments and other financial details.
The successful candidates will be able to communicate with members and non-members by phone and email in a timely fashion and professional manner.
They will be able to compose clear detailed notes on all completed enquiries and save them to the members' record on the CRM.
The ability to work well within a team as well as individually is important, as well having a high standard of organisational and administrative skills.
The successful candidates will also have excellent customer service skills including the ability to handle challenging conversations / interactions.
This role is offered on a full time, permanent basis, with a minimum of 2 days per week working in person at our Head Office in London Bridge.
We are offering a basic salary of £34,360, plus a London weighting allowance of £6,384, as well as excellent staff benefits including a contribution towards a personal pension, flexible working and access to ongoing training and development.
The annual leave entitlement for this post is 30 days, excluding public holidays.
