Job summary We are lookingfor a professional Medical Support Secretary to join our friendly team at theWest of England Specialist Gender Identity Clinic.The applicantmust be experienced and competent in IT and be aware of the need of patientconfidentiality.
Knowledge of medical terminology is an advantage.We are afriendly team, the office is busy, and the work is interesting and varied.Ouradministrators are a vital part of our team, with our clinic being anation-wide service, we literally couldnt provide high quality care withoutthem; and thats where you come in.
If you have good keyboard, administrationand computer skills along with a good telephone manner and enjoy liaisingbetween team members and services in a busy environment, then this is theopportunity for you.
Main duties of the job This role is interesting and varied; from generating assessment andfollow up letters, providing support to the medics, organising appointments,uploading of patient records and any ad hoc duties.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential RSA 3 Word Processing or equivalent level of experience in practice NVQ3 in administration or equivalent level administrative knowledge and experience GCSE English or equivalent Evidence of continuing professional and personal development Desirable ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence).
