Main duties of the job We are looking to appoint a Medical Secretary to join the Elderly Care Secretarial team.
You will have experience of administration duties and dealing with members of the public.
The ideal candidate will have: Excellent communication skills Outstanding empathy and compassion Able to use their own initiative Organisational Skills Experience of Microsoft Office packages Clinical typing experience Understanding of clinics and appointments About us University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust is one of the largest and most modern in the country.

Person Specification The post holder will be qualified to NVQ level 2, OCR 2 or equivalent Essential NVQ level 2, OCR 2 or equivalent Reasonable standard of GSCE A-C (4-9) or equivalent Desirable Secretarial/clerical background.
Audio type writing skills Application and Interview Essential Knowledge of Microsoft office package including: Microsoft word and outlook Desirable NHS Experience
