Job summary Wecurrently have an exciting vacancy for a Medical Secretary to join our MedicalSecretary team.We arelooking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual.Therefore,we need someone with accurate keyboard and IT skills and an understanding ofmedical terminology.
Previous experience as a medical secretary is essential.Theability to work as a team player as well as on your own in a very busy role andprioritise work when under pressure is essential.
An understanding of the importance ofconfidentiality in the workplace and able to follow data protection policiesand guidelines is essential.Thesuccessful applicant will benefit from working in a pleasant environment,friendly and innovative practice, NHS Pension, holiday, and sick pay.

Main duties of the job You will provide medical secretary support to the practice GPs, Nurses, and Practice Management team, involving word processing and audio typing skills to prepare patient referrals and medical letters and reports.
About us Bancroft Medical Centre is a large GP practice in the market town of Hitchin Hertfordshire.
Operating over two sites located across the road from each other.
The secretarial team is currently 4, and work to support all teams in the team meet regularly to share ideas for improvements and learn from each other in a supportive patient contact is limited, you will be supporting patients in receiving timely referrals and care.Bancroft Medical Centre offers additional leave for long service and access to NHS pension scheme.
