Job summary We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Medical Secretary to join the Neuro-Rehabilitation and Major Trauma Teams working at the University Hospital of Llandough.
The post is full time ( hours) Monday to Friday.
The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills and work well within a team.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Main duties of the job The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the consultant teams within Neuro-Rehabilitation and Major Trauma at University Hospital Llandough.
Duties are varied but will include acting as first point of contact for patients and relatives,typing of letters, sorting incoming/outgoing post, answering departmental phone calls and booking patient appointments.
