Join the Gastroenterology and Hepatology medical secretary team at Hinchingbrooke Hospital in Huntingdon!
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated professional to provide administrative support to the Senior Medical Secretary and the clinical team within the department, as well as assistance to our patients.
You will be an excellent communicator with solid administrative experience and a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
You should demonstrate a high level of accuracy when handling confidential and sensitive information, while consistently embodying the Trust's values and behaviours.

Work efficiently, with a high degree of accuracy, and handle sensitive information confidentially.
Work flexibly across the Trust, both independently and as part of a team, liaising with colleagues at all levels.
Have excellent communication skills and respond effectively to the needs of the service.
Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
Act as a point of contact for patients, specialty teams, and other departments regarding patient admissions.
Track patient pathways following National targets, ensuring timely and accurate progression.
Provide a professional and reassuring service to patients and their families, ensuring they feel supported throughout their care journey.
