Job summary We are a friendly GP surgery working over two sites in Worcester and we are looking for reliable and motivated individuals to join ourreception team.
This roles primary location would be Lyppard Grange Medical Centre.Core hours of practice, are - across 5 days.
We are ideally looking for 37 hours across 5 days.
This will include some or starts, and at least one finish.Previous applicants need not apply.
Main duties of the job Candidateswill need to have excellent communication skills and be computer literate.
Weare looking for someone who is confident in their ability, hardworking andsomeone who is eager to learn and shows initiative.
Previous experience ofworking within a GP Practice would be helpful, but is not essential.

We have a strong GP, ANP's and nurse team supported by management, admin and reception.
Job description Job responsibilities Main Duties of the Job:-Maintaining and monitoring the practice appointment systemArranging face-to-face/telephone appointment requests, visits/telephone consultations and directing callers to the appropriate healthcare professionalProcessing emailsCreating Patient TasksProcessing repeat prescriptions in accordance with practice guidelinesInitiating contact with and responding to requests from patients, other team members and associated healthcare agencies and providersProviding clerical assistance to practice staff as required, including word/data processing, filing and photocopying Person Specification Qualifications Essential Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) English and Maths grade A to C Desirable Previous experience working in GP Practice NVQ level 3 customer service/administration
