Job summary We are currently recruiting to a General Medical Administrator who will work across our administrative functions within the practice.
This is a varied role and will suit someone who likes variety in their day-to day work and is a keen learner.
This position is open to applicants looking for both full and part-time hours.
As a practice, we are now open on Saturdays (9am-5pm) and on Monday evenings until 8pm to provide an extended access service to our patients - these hours will be part of your working week.
Main duties of the job The role will include reception work involving answering telephone's, booking appointments, providing a front desk reception service, working to protocols to advise and signpost patients for their care.
It may also involve handling patient referrals, insurance reports, as well as more non-departmental specific administrative tasks.The ideal candidate will need to be proficient with IT and have a kind and caring manner as the role will involve contact with our patients.
Previous experience of GP Practice is ideal, however training will be provided regardless.
