What does the company do?As a media sales house, we work on behalf of a number of premium publishers and media owners.
We work across multiple media channels such as print, digital, inserts, out-of-home and direct mail working with both media agencies and clients directly.
How you expect the candidate to spend their day:You will be working across a number of print and digital magazine brands where you will be responsible in selling advertising space.
In doing so your main, day to day roles include: Lead sourcing Prospecting new business (30+ calls per day) Account management of existing clients Meeting all admin expectations such as maintaining options docs, flat plans, bookings processes and pipeline Sharing regular forecasting information The ideal candidate's personality and qualifications: To be successful in this role it is vital to have strong telephone skills and the willingness to make a call rather than email.
To help with this you will need to display confidence.
A strong personality can be beneficial, but you must have the drive and determination to handle and overcome difficult calls.
No formal qualification are required, but some level of real world experience could be an advantage.
