We are actively seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Communications Co-Ordinator to join our communications team.
This role will support our communications initiatives across Europe and will play a critical part in executing our communications strategy.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about legal communications, possess excellent writing and organizational skills, and have a keen understanding of the European market.
The role will be based in London and will report to the Communications Manager in London and work closely with the Senior Business Managers in London and Paris as well as other Client Development departments and Business Development colleagues on a global basis.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Participate in and provide contributions during briefing calls/meeting with lawyers to determine media angles Develop ability to identify angles and stories where we can develop a share of voice Support the development and maintenance of relationships with European media outlets and journalists.
Assist in drafting press releases and media pitches, and coordinate media outreach efforts.
Lead on the development of write ups for all European deals to be used across the communication and BD mix Support the drafting of legal directory and awards submissions in coordination with BD colleagues in London and Paris.
Assist in creating, editing, and proofreading content for various communication channels including press releases, newsletters, blog posts, social media updates, and internal communications.
Build positive stakeholder relationships with the lawyers and develop a deep understanding of each practice group's client base, product offering and communication needs.
Manage and update the firm's European social media accounts, ensuring regular and engaging content.
Stay abreast of social media best practices and new opportunities and communicate those to Communications Manager and BD colleagues.
Analyse client, prospect, industry and market research and help identify trends.
Work with the PR team to refine and progress the industry groups' visibility objectives and provide guidance and ideas on key hot topics and industry trends.
Work with Senior Communications Manager to recommend and facilitate opportunities to enhance both individual lawyers and practices and increase the Firm's visibility with target clients.
Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and media coverage in the European market.
Provide insights and recommendations to the Senior Communications Manager based on findings.
Support internal communications efforts to ensure consistent and effective messaging within the firm's European offices.
Maintain the communications calendar and ensure timely execution of all activities.
Organize and manage the firm's media archive and communications resources.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required.
3-4 years of experience in a communications/Media Relations role, preferably within a legal or professional services environment and especially within an agency.
Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital communication strategies.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent analytical, critical thinking and organizational skills.
Work well independently and as a member of a team; able to interact collaboratively and successfully across departments and levels.
Adaptable, flexible and comfortable with ambiguity.
Strong client service skills.
Deal with complex material and concepts.
Handle multiple projects and maintain professional composure in high-pressure situations in a fast-paced, multi-authority and deadline-driven environment.
High level of attention to detail.
Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus.
Importantly, the successful candidate will have a proactive, can-do attitude with a passion for communication best practice and the business of law.
