Job Title: Media Lecturer Location: Stamford College Start Date: ASAP Salary: £24.17-£30.53 per hour (including statutory holiday) Position Type: Part time / Temporary (Thursday & Fridays) About the Role: Stamford College is seeking a dynamic and passionate Media Lecturer to join our Media department starting this ASAP.

Key Responsibilities: Teaching & Learning: Deliver high-quality teaching across a range of media subjects, including but not limited to, digital media production, film studies, photography, and multimedia projects.
Curriculum Development: Contribute to the planning and development of engaging and up-to-date course content that meets industry standards and prepares students for higher education and employment.
Assessment: Monitor, assess, and provide constructive feedback to students, ensuring they meet their learning objectives and achieve their potential.
Student Support: Offer academic and pastoral support to students, helping them overcome challenges and succeed in their studies.
Industry Engagement: Maintain and develop strong links with the media industry to enhance student learning experiences and ensure curriculum relevance.
Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues in the department and across the college to ensure the delivery of a coherent and coordinated learning experience.
Essential Requirements: A degree in Media, Film, Digital Media, or a related field.
Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
Experience teaching media subjects at FE/HE level.
Strong knowledge of current media trends and industry standards.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Desirable: Experience in the media industry.
Familiarity with the latest digital media technologies and software.
