Mechatronic Technician

Based near Lisburn, our client is a successful manufacturing business who are currently on the market for an experienced Mechatronic Technician to join the maintenance team.
The successful Technician will be responsible for planned and breakdown maintenance on production plant and equipment.
Essential Criteria: Have served either: a Mechatronic or Electrical apprenticeship in a manufacturing / production settingOR a Mechatronic or Electrical apprenticeship in any settingplusat least 2-3 years post apprenticeship experience in a manufacturing / production environment.
Be prepared to work and train in both mechanical and electrical disciplines.
Desirable Criteria: Have a minimum of an NVQ 3 in engineering (or equivalent qualification) Can demonstrate experience and proven ability of maintaining plant and equipment in a high volume, production environment Working experience of PLCs, controls, robotics, hydraulics & pneumatics.
Both day and continental shift patterns are available.
Salary is up to £50k depending upon shift pattern.
