We have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Technician to join our Estates team.
This role is a based in our Main Hospital site in Central London (W1G 6BW).

Job Profile This role is responsible for technical fault finding, diagnosis and repair on a wide range of engineering plant and equipment, e.g.
heat generation, low pressure, heating systems, hot and cold water services, drainage, air-conditioning etc.
This is not an exhaustive list but provides examples of the type and range of systems and equipment worked on.
Undertaking maintenance, repairs, minor improvement and capital work across the Clinic as directed.
Job Type: This is a full-time, permanent position working 38.05 hours per week covering Monday to Sunday.
Rota: 4 on, 4 off shift pattern.
Days and nights.
Hours: 7am to 7pm OR 7pm to 7am.

Key Duties To work in accordance with the requirements of the mechanical HTMs for water systems, statutory regulations, legionella regulations and Clinic policies.
To ensure that all work is carried out in a safe manner following the appropriate risk assessment at all times.
Undertake essential repair works and general maintenance activities at the request of the management.
Undertake technical fault finding on complex mechanical systems and equipment.
Skills & Experience Holds an NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering.
Proven experience within a similar role.
Healthcare experience is preferable.
Knowledge of FSI Concept would be advantageous.
