Mechanical Service Engineer required.
Our client specialises in the design and manufacture of advanced, precise, high-value-added and engineered-to-order Manufacturing Solutions.
This would be for machinery for grinding and lathes and other tool manufacturing.
They are now looking for a Field Mechanical Service Engineer due to the growth of the business.
As this position is nationwide with international work, candidates can be based anywhere in the UK.
Successful candidates will be Mechanical engineers with a passion towards supporting the aviation industry, both civil and military.
Candidates must be happy with national/international travel as well as staying away up to 90% of the time.
Successful candidates will also rebuild, service, calibrate and test machinery.
Mechanical Service Engineer Position Overview UK and International service and repair of specialist machine tooling, used within the aviation industry Majority of servicing will be pre-planned in advance with very little call out Being the face of the business, you will be expected to offer excellent customer service and show patience when required You will be servicing on aviation sites (both civil and military), you could be away for periods of up to 3 weeks at a time You will be required to arrange your own flights and hotels Mechnical Service Engineer Position Requirements Qualified Mechanical engineer who's passionate about aviation.
Experience in a similar role with Lathe's, Grinders or CNC machines is desirable.
