Then this could be the roll for you as you will be leading multiple engineering projects to ensure achievement of time, cost, and performance targets.With our strong investment in research and development and our culture of continuous improvement, Hexcel is the industry leader in the manufacturing of advance composite materials, including carbon fiber, woven reinforcements, resins, prepregs, honeycombs and additive manufactured parts.We invite you to join the Hexcel team around the globe and become a part of the "strength within" as a Mechanical Project Engineer for our Duxford, UK site.You will be responsible for:Leading continuous improvement projects across the siteDeveloping concepts into detailed specifications on a broad range of manufacturing equipment.Creating and maintaining mechanical specifications, drawings, and documentationTender analysis and validation.Becoming a key part of the engineering team supporting the safe operation of the site, including the use of industry standard risk assessment techniques, issuing, and controlling safe system of work permits.Qualifications:Recognised Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalentProject engineering experience in a manufacturing or process environmentExperience including design and specification of industrial chemical processes or similarAUTOCAD or Inventor CAD experience requiredATEX & commissioning experience would be advantageous.Experience of industry standard risk assessment techniques such as HAZOP, FMEA.Hexcel (NYSE: HXL) is a global leader in advanced composites technology, a leading producer of carbon fiber, and the world leader in honeycomb manufacturing for the commercial aerospace industry.Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK.
