This company specialises in the production of biogas through the process of anaerobic digestion at a number of sites across Scotland and have been continuously expanding throughout recent years largely due to their success in partnering with major distilleries.
In this role you will be working within the Maintenance Team and reporting into the Team Leader and Supervisor.
You will be responsible for ensuring work scopes are carried out safely, to a high standard and meet dedicated time frames.
You will be required to respond quickly to reactive and emergency maintenance tasks on site to maintain a safe operation and maximise plant uptime.
The ideal candidate will possess an engineering qualification at HNC level or have completed a relevant Apprenticeship.
You should hold previous experience working in a production or process plant setting and have been involved with mechanical maintenance.

The role: * Carrying out mechanical maintenance and apply technical expertise.
* On occasion you may be required to travel to the Glasgow site to carry out planned, reactive and emergency work.
* 4 on 4 off shift pattern (once completed training and inducted).
* Supporting with ongoing and new project works e.g modifications, new plant commissioning etc.
The person: * Educated to at least HNC/HND level in Engineering Practice / Mechanical Engineering or qualified to Apprenticeship level.
* Holds previous mechanical maintenance experience gained in an industrial/production/process plant * Full UK driving licence.
