* Perform both reactive and preventive maintenance to enhance equipment reliability.
* Collaborate with the maintenance team to execute maintenance schedules and implement plant improvements.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations, conducting risk assessments for systems like steam, compressed air, and hydraulics.
* Support engineering projects and contribute ideas for operational enhancements.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
* Ensure consistent staffing levels by covering shifts when needed.Candidate Profile: * A recognised qualification in Mechanical Engineering (e.g., ONC, NVQ Level 3).
* Proven experience in both preventive and reactive maintenance.
* Knowledge of welding, pneumatics, and hydraulics is desirable.
* A safety-conscious mindset with the ability to identify and mitigate risks effectively.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
