Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Milton Keynes £40,000 - £42,000 We are looking for an experienced Mechanically Biased Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a brand-new site in Milton Keynes.
This role requires a hands-on engineer with a background in mechanical maintenance, who can handle both Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs efficiently.
You'll be responsible for maintaining mechanical plant equipment, such as pumps, filters, motors, and drainers, while ensuring minimal downtime and adherence to safety standards.
This position offers a structured working schedule, alternating weekly shifts with occasional on-call responsibilities.
The role does not require travel beyond the Milton Keynes site, making it ideal for candidates based nearby.
Duties Conducting 80% PPM and 20% reactive maintenance on mechanical systems.
Maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment, including pumps, filters, motors, AHU's, FCU's Supporting minor projects and managing subcontractors as required.
Ensuring safe, reliable operations in line with regulatory standards.
The Ideal Candidate Mechanically biased, with relevant qualifications and experience in maintenance, plumbing, or HVAC systems.
Hands-on experience in plant equipment maintenance, including pumps, filters, and motors.
Previous experience as a commercial plumber, pipefitter, or junior HVAC engineer Strong communication skills and a commitment to maintaining safety and compliance standards.
