Job description Job Title: Mechanical Fitter Salary: £36,350 per year Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, 12-hour shifts We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our clients dynamic team at a leading manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities: Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
Ensure that all mechanical work is completed in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with the production and engineering teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and assist in scheduling maintenance activities.
Requirements: Minimum Level 3 NVQ in Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline.
Apprenticeship qualification is highly desirable.
Proven experience working in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
