BMR Solutions are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Fitter to work for our client who are an engineering / manufacturing company in Gloucestershire.
Mechanical Fitter Stonehouse Permanent £30000 Key Skills: Machine Build / Electro-mechanical / Mechanical / Assembly Responsibilities: Assemble parts to the required specification including: Sub-assemblies Build Complete any quality documentation required for the tasks Identify problems with assemblies / parts and raise any quality issues following the company procedures Operate handling equipment and machinery when trained to do so Support the sustainment and improvement of housekeeping and health and safety practices Support in the implementation and sustainment of 5S standards Assist in the achievement of the Assembly operational plan Any other reasonable request by the line management team Knowledge and Skills: Able to read engineering drawings and understand Bill of Materials Ability to understand mechanical design assembly Previous mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment Experience of assembling large fabricated parts to engineering drawings Good dexterity with the ability to handle a variety of parts including sheet metal, machined and electrical components Good verbal and written communication skills Good numeracy Computer literate Proactive Team player Adaptable Conscientious and responsible Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines Lean manufacturing knowledge BMR Solutions acts in the capacity of an Employment Business and an Employment Agency.
