Key Responsibilities: - Prepare detailed mechanical estimates for building services projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tender specifications.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and other project documentation to create comprehensive costings.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
- Collaborate with the design and project management teams to ensure estimates meet the project scope and requirements.
- Identify and evaluate potential risks and opportunities within the tender process.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, materials, and labour costs.
- Assist in negotiating contracts and preparing final submissions.
About You: - Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator within the building services or facilities management industry.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical services such as HVAC, plumbing, and general building services systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with high attention to detail.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficient in estimation software and Microsoft Office.
