This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to a variety of challenging projects and help drive the success of the company. Key Responsibilities: Analyse project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for accurate estimations.
Identify and quantify cost factors, such as production time, materials, and labour expenses.
Prepare and present detailed cost breakdowns and bid proposals.
Review and update estimates to reflect changes in project scope or market conditions.
Maintain a database of historical cost data to improve the accuracy of future estimates.
Ensure all estimates comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Requirements: Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator in the M&E contracting sector.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems and components.
Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
Proficiency in estimation software and tools.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering or a related field.
