Job Description Right Now Group is currently partnered with an industry leader looking to secure the right Mechanical Engineer to help implement product builds and design, improve efficiency and to predominantly produce accurate BOM's (Bill of materials).
\n This role would be well suited to candidates with backgrounds in Mechanical Engineering, particularly to those with prior/current experience within Product or Production Engineering or Manufacturing related industries.
\n Job Title: Mechanical Engineer Role Type: Permanent Location: Halesowen - Office Based Salary: 30-35k Benefits: Holiday 23 days + 8BH Hours: Full-Time Monday - Friday - Friday, lunch time finish \n Key Responsibilities \n \n Full management of the existing product portfolio for all markets \n Developing documentation to ensure full regulatory compliance \n Streamlining and implementing processes and systems to improve overall efficiency \n Working closely with Projects, Engineering, and internal and external customers \n Producing accurate BOM's to ensure smooth flow of products \n Creation of 2D and 3D drawings through CAD software \n Working with ERP systems providing project, procurement and specification's support for Engineering, \n Support the existing quality team with technical issues \n Working closely with supplies and external customers \n \n Desirable \n \n Previous experience within Mechanical, Product or Production engineering, ideally within Manufacturing or Engineering related industries \n Strong systems knowledge, including Excel and ERP systems such as SAP \n Working knowledge of CAD \n Electro-Mechanical/ Electrical skills \n Exposure to white goods or 3 phase electrical products \n Previous experience in building bill of materials \n Understanding of product compliance \n Desire to improve and develop upon existing processes \n Attention to detail and methodical nature \n Strong communication skills \n
