This role offers a mix of depot-based and fieldwork responsibilities covering the South Wales Region.
It focuses on maintaining and repairing diesel engines that power large water pumps.
You'll report to the Senior Engineer and play a crucial part in keeping our fleet in world-class condition.
With training provided for pump systems, this is an excellent opportunity to expand your expertise while enjoying a dynamic, supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities Perform repairs and maintenance on the diesel-driven pump fleet.
Fault-find and resolve mechanical and electrical system issues.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Conduct risk assessments and create method statements.
Plan and coordinate work efficiently to minimize downtime.
Provide technical support to customers and team members.
Assist with spare parts ordering and fleet management.
Liaise with customers, ensuring excellent service standards.
Participate in a callout rota (1 in 5 weeks, £80 standby rate).
Manage maintenance planning and daily project inquiries.
