Salary of  up to £59,000 a year depending on experience and training Tools provided Ongoing training and guidance available This is an engine-focused role, and the majority of the work will involve building, repairing, and diagnosing vehicle engines.
We are seeking candidates with proven experience and knowledge in engine building and repair.
Applicants without this experience will not be considered.
About Us Lou's Warranty is a dedicated automotive warranty provider, offering customers reliable, high-quality warranty coverage for their vehicles.
As part of our commitment to excellence, we operate a specialized workshop division focused on engine repairs and rebuilds, known as Pana Engines.
This sub-division is equipped for advanced engine diagnostic and repair work, ensuring our clients receive top-tier service and vehicle care.
Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and rebuild various types of engines, ensuring quality workmanship Perform thorough inspections, identifying issues and potential improvements for engine performance Use diagnostic equipment and tools to troubleshoot and repair engine-related problems Provide clear and detailed explanations regarding repairs and service options Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations within the workshop Work closely with the team to manage workshop flow and prioritize tasks efficiently Requirements Proven experience in engine repairs, diagnostics, and rebuilds Solid understanding of automotive engines, components, and repair techniques Ability to operate diagnostic and repair tools with proficiency Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to high standards Relevant certifications or qualifications in Mechanical / Automotive Engineering (optional) If you are passionate and eager to contribute your skills in a dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
