Meat Packers – 6Am To 3.30Pm – Poole

We are recruiting for Meat Packers for a long established wholesaler in Poole, Dorset.The ideal applicant will be eager to progress and go through a full training program to become a fully skilled factory operative.However, we are looking to develop people who are keen to learn a new trade so these skills are not essential.Starting rate for unskilled candidates is £11.44 per hour and will potentially rise after probationary period to £12.00 per hour approximately.Overtime paid at time and a half after successful probation period.6am - 3.30pm, Monday to FridayWeekends off.Growing company with career progression opportunities.Discounted meat and Food products.You can pay £22 per month for a meat hamper containing Beef Joints, Pork Joints, Chicken, Meat Balls plus other items.
Responsibilities:Packing meat into packets after quality checksEnsuring GMP Standards are followed.Helping out in other areas of the factory as and when required.Experience and Skills Required:Food manufacturing experience desirable but not essentialNumeracy and reading skills required to work to customer specification.Willingness to work in a repetitive role and low temperature environment.
