We are currently seeking an MDS Coordinator with PDPM experience to join our vibrant team.Key Responsibilities:- Current RN or LPN license in MA with previous experience in MDS/PDPM (2 years or more)- Facilitates weekly skilled Medicare meetings and provides clear communication regarding skilled coverage criteria- Transmits MDS to CMS and follows up to validate any errors or messages revealed on final validation reports- Completes PDPM/MDS assessments within regulatory time frames including CAAs- Participates and reviews invoices as indicated for skilled patients under consolidated billing- Maintains a current PDPM schedule while setting all PDPM MDS ARDs within time frames in the MDS software program- Completes MDS accuracy/PDPM reviews with required software/process in a timely manor- Participate in Triple check/Compliance reviews- Monitor skilled documentation for potential opportunities/changes- Maintains and follows a schedule of due dates for all MDS.- Coordinates the completion of the MDS by all disciplines.- Reviews the MDS data for accuracy and meets with appropriate staff as needed to assure accuracy.- Finalizes and transmits the MDSs per RAI requirements- Complete Medicare Physician Certification and monitors compliance with CMS Medicare guidelines- Verifies that assessments have been transmitted and approved by the State in a timely manner.- Corrects any rejected records and prepares them for re-submission.- Completes CAAs according to state guidelines.- Provide weekly updates for managed care residents.Requirements- Previous experience in a hospital, long-term facility, or other healthcare related facility.- Must be knowledgeable of general, rehabilitative and restorative nursing and medical practices and procedures and laws, regulations and guidelines governing long-term care.- Computer skills-Windows applications, computer experience Accu Med experience preferred.- Previous experience in completing MDS/PDPM is required.- Can work independently- Flexible with schedule for month end close- Detail oriented and able to accurately and timely complete assessments.Benefits- Work with a great team who's committed to your success and growth- Paid lunch- Weekly pay- Paid Vacation and PTO- Health, Dental, and Vision plus secondary benefit plan options- K plus match
