Position:  Maths Teacher Location:  Gillingham Salary:  Paid to scale, based on experience Contract Type:  Full-time, Temp to Perm Start Date:  Jan 2025 Summary: Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Gillingham to recruit a Maths Teacher.
The Maths department is extremely well-run with a large, supportive team.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver a broad, balanced, and engaging maths curriculum.
Monitor and support the progress and development of students as both a teacher and form tutor.
Create a positive learning environment that encourages students to reach their full potential.
Contribute to raising standards of student attainment and engagement.
Support the school's mission to provide a nurturing environment for personal and academic growth.
Serve as a form tutor, supporting the well-being and personal growth of students.
Participate in evaluating and improving teaching practices and departmental performance.
The ideal candidate will: Hold QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant degree in Maths.
Have successful teaching experience at the secondary level.
Be familiar with National Curriculum requirements at KS3 and KS4.
Demonstrate strong ICT skills and experience with interactive whiteboards or similar tools.
Exhibit excellent time management, communication, and organisational skills.
Possess the ability to foster a motivating and safe learning environment.
Hold an enhanced DBS certificate (or be willing to obtain) All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
