Teaching Personnel are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths teacher to join a Secondary School in Lyme Regis.
The successful candidate will be an pro-active and experienced teacher with experience teaching students at Key Stages 3 and 4.
The ideal candidate will be QTS qualified and have experience working with class sizes of up to 30 students.
They will also have experience planning and organising lessons that are engaging and follow the National Curriculum.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE UK Teacher Qualification with QTS (or NQT).
Enhanced DBS certification or willingness to obtain one.
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Maths or a similar field.
Class control and behaviour management skills.
Excellent communication skills.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Teaching classes of up to 30 pupils.
Have vast knowledge and understanding of the mathematics curriculum. Assess and monitor students' progress across the academic year.
Encourage and motivate the learning of the pupils.
Prepare and implement lessons to a high standard.
