Job Advert: Maths Teacher - Folkestone Teaching Personnel - Shaping Bright Futures in Education Position: Maths Teacher Location: Folkestone, Kent Salary: To Scale Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Role: Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in Folkestone.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher or a newly qualified professional to inspire and motivate students, helping them reach their full potential in Mathematics.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, with potential KS5 teaching.
Plan and assess lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
Support and guide students of varying abilities to achieve their learning goals.
Maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
Participate in departmental meetings, professional development, and school-wide activities.
Monitor and report on student progress, providing additional support where necessary.
The Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching Maths at secondary level (KS3, KS4) – KS5 experience is desirable but not essential.
Strong subject knowledge and passion for Mathematics.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Commitment to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
A proactive and collaborative approach to teaching.
