The Role We are seeking an experienced Maths Lead Educator to join our new Options Autism School in Luton, Bedfordshire.
As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our pupils with ASC and Complex Needs.
You will take a creative approach to teaching Maths, ensuring delivery of the curriculum in a way that maximises pupils' achievement and ability to develop.
This may involve adapting your teaching methods to cater to individual needs, using innovative strategies to engage students, and collaborating with support staff to create a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities Teach Maths to pupils with ASC and Complex Needs, developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that cater to individual learning styles.
Lead the development of Numeracy programmes across the school, ensuring consistency and alignment with curriculum requirements.
Collaborate with support staff to ensure seamless integration of Maths lessons into daily routines, promoting a culture of inclusivity and understanding.
Provide regular feedback to SLT, parents, and carers on pupil progress, celebrating successes and identifying areas for improvement.
