We are now looking for an Estimator to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis, working 37.5 hours per week.

The Role As an Estimator, you will play a critical role in winning new business by calculating the cost of materials, labour and equipment necessary to deliver projects for our clients.
Supporting the Sales Team with proposals, you will track project costs and use client specifications to determine the final budget for a project.
You will analyse project plans, bills of quantities and specifications to estimate costs accurately.
You will build strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, sourcing and negotiating quotes to secure the best value.
Additionally, you will: - Obtain supplier quotes and support tender preparation and bid writing - Visit project sites to gather necessary information - Maintain detailed records and prepare reports About You To be considered as an Estimator, you will need: - Experience in estimating, surveying or tendering - The ability to read and understand architectural drawings/plans and develop cost estimates - Strong numeracy skills - Commercial awareness - A degree level qualification (or be working towards this) in a relevant subject area or experience working within a similar role Other organisations may call this role Construction Estimator, Construction Contract Surveyor, Quantity Surveyor, Project Estimator, or Construction Quantity Surveyor.
