Job Advertisement: Part-Time Maths Tutor Location: Cambridge (Mondays) Job Type: Permanent, Part-Time Hours: 9.5 per week Schedule: Teaching: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM every Monday.
Admin: Additional 2 hours to be completed at a mutually agreed time.
About the Role: We are looking for a passionate and motivated Maths Tutor to join our Maths & English division.
This part-time role involves delivering face-to-face teaching and supporting learners as they work towards their GCSE Maths qualifications .
In some cases, you may also deliver Functional Skills to learners with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) , depending on the academy.
Your teaching will support learners pursuing vocational qualifications in areas such as public services (military academy) , hair and beauty , and construction , focusing on helping those without existing Maths or English qualifications achieve success.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and effective lessons in GCSE Maths.
Provide Functional Skills teaching as required (on a case-by-case basis).
Support learners who do not yet hold Maths or English qualifications.
Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners across vocational disciplines.
What We're Looking For: A Level 3 qualification in Maths or a related subject.
A teaching qualification (minimum Level 3).
A genuine passion for helping learners achieve academic and personal success.
A minimum of 2 years' teaching experience in Maths delivery.
