Materials Planner

Materials Planner This is a key role within the purchasing department, providing planning and administration support for the materials manager.
This will involve working closely with other departments including operations, sales and finance to ensure smooth running of the materials supply chain.
Key Responsibilities: Daily planning of bulk and bagged raw materials into 2 production sites in conjunction with on-site personnel.
Liaising with suppliers to ensure all materials are available when required, addressing any issues, and communicating with relevant internal stakeholders.
Maintaining internal planning systems using data from sales, purchasing and production to plan material requirements.
Assisting in the weekly, monthly and seasonal forecasting of expected raw material usage.
Maintaining aspects of the trading book, including liaising with sales team and associated logistics.
Weekly and monthly reconciliation of materials and finished product production and usages.
Managing regulatory affairs with DAERA and other external bodies and completing all appropriate reports Maintaining and enhancing quality standards including assisting in annual audits.
Completing supplementary declarations and other required documents through Trade Support Service.
Any other related duties.
Candidate Requirements: Educated to a minimum of A-Level standard or equivalent.
Must possess a good level of computer literacy.
Excellent organisational and planning skills.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues, suppliers and customers.
Energetic, hard working and ability to work on their own initiative.
