Materials Controller

Materials Controller – Leeds – Competitive Salary Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to be working exclusively with a rapidly growing SME business in Leeds who are looking to recruit a Materials Controller to join their team.
Materials Controller Duties: Manage all suppliers on a day to day basis Responsible for creating purchase orders for direct & indirect materials via purchase requisition, MRP or other stock replenishment methods Responsible for the expediting of all purchase orders for direct & indirect suppliers to ensure they arrive on time to meet our production and customer requirements Control, maintain & manage the correct stock levels to ensure stock is available to meet our daily production demand and delivery to our customers whilst ensuring no over stocking Work closely with all suppliers to ensure they achieve agreed performance targets on Price, Quality & Delivery Update & maintain all supplier details on the system such as prices, lead times, MOQ's, order method & contact information Resolve any supplier invoice queries relating to quantity and price Attend & input into the daily production meetings Actively participate where required in lean & continuous improvement activities Participate in all Company Stocktakes Benefits: 31 days annual leave Internal development opportunities Pension Free onsite parking Hours: Full time Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5pm (1 hour lunch) Required skills & experience: Good knowledge of MRP reporting Excellent verbal and written communication Ability to work effectively in a busy environment If you would like to discuss this Materials Controller role in more detail, then do get in touch with Lewis at Elevation Recruitment Group now!
