Materials Controller – Leeds – Competitive SalaryElevation Recruitment Group are proud to be working exclusively with a rapidly growing SME business in Leeds who are looking to recruit a Materials Controller to join their team.Materials Controller Duties:Manage all suppliers on a day to day basisResponsible for creating purchase orders for direct & indirect materials via purchase requisition, MRP or other stock replenishment methodsResponsible for the expediting of all purchase orders for direct & indirect suppliers to ensure they arrive on time to meet our production and customer requirementsControl, maintain & manage the correct stock levels to ensure stock is available to meet our daily production demand and delivery to our customers whilst ensuring no over stockingWork closely with all suppliers to ensure they achieve agreed performance targets on Price, Quality & DeliveryUpdate & maintain all supplier details on the system such as prices, lead times, MOQ's, order method & contact informationResolve any supplier invoice queries relating to quantity and priceAttend & input into the daily production meetingsActively participate where required in lean & continuous improvement activitiesParticipate in all Company StocktakesBenefits:31 days annual leaveInternal development opportunitiesPensionFree onsite parkingHours: Full time Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5pm (1 hour lunch)Required skills & experience:Good knowledge of MRP reportingExcellent verbal and written communicationAbility to work effectively in a busy environmentIf you would like to discuss this Materials Controller role in more detail, then do get in touch with Lewis at Elevation Recruitment Group now!
