About the Role Reporting to Materials Manager you will be responsible for the management and control of bought in parts (BIPs), including ordering, receipting and issuing.
Stock rotation, quality and stock counts will be a key element of the role.
Main Duties & Responsibilities: Use of PIT in a safe and efficient manner including Counterbalance, Reach Truck, Pallet Stacker, Tugger Truck etc.
Processing of Parts received to both Production and Stores Prompt and accurate control of paperwork Loading and Unloading of Materials deliveries Compliance with inventory control measures Compliance with internal environmental and waste management procedures Following Standard Work procedures General Housekeeping Duties About you The successful candidate must have: Previous experience of working in stores/warehouse environment Educated to GCSE standard Understanding of Inventory Control Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Self-motivation and initiative Ability to work well in a team Ability to problem solve Strive towards continuous improvement Ability to work in an environment that is fluid with constantly changing priorities This above description is non-exhaustive and there may be additional duties in accordance with the role.
