This is a varied role with plenty of room to make it your own!As well as delivering an exceptional standard of service to internal customers, you'll be responsible ensuring stock levels are maintained effectively and raising stock replenishment orders.Ideally you will have some background in manufacturing, MRO PPE or a trade counter environment, however full training will be provided so don't let this stop you from applying!

We've disrupted and we have grown, but we're not finished yet.The Role We support our customers to ensure they have all the parts, spares and tooling they need to operate as well as working hard to ensure we obtain the best deals with suppliers.As Material Controller you will be responsible for ensuring that stock levels are maintained effectively, raising stock replenishment orders and working with network representatives to support them with providing excellent customer service.
Material Controllers will be expected to work closely with key stakeholders including Suppliers, Product Management, Purchasing, Finance and the Warehouse teams and functions.Key Responsibilities:Working with key stakeholders to ensure that the stock depth is optimisedWork proactively with customer facing team to ensure that product demand is understood and metDemand exception managementWork closely with our Network of branches and Insites, responding to all queries in a timely mannerMonitor non-moving and slow-moving stock recommending actions to key stakeholdersWorking on the company's planning and forecasting system, setting up system parameters for optimised replenishmentRegularly validate lead times for all suppliersMaintain an up-to-date incoming order book and follow up discrepancies with suppliersDeliver high availability for the range under managementRole requirementsWe welcome your application if you are a confident, motivated individual with a passion for Material Control with the below attributes:Strong Deadline ManagementAbility to build and maintain excellent relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholdersEffective workload prioritisationAbility to deliver under pressure in a timely mannerAptitude to improve working practicesEffective communication skillsStrong MS Excel skillsAnalytical mindsetEffective time managementPro-active & enjoys problem solvingPositive can-do attitudeWillingness to learn new systemsBackground or Experience in Customer Service, Supply Chain, Logistics, PI or Stock Management would be preferable but not essentialWe offerWe've built an environment based on trust, openness, and kindness, where different perspectives can thrive.
