Master Data Administrator

Purpose The Master Data Administrator is: Responsible for the day-to-day life cycle of SAP Master Data, for Customers, Vendors, Materials & Pricing Validate & accurately create Master Data within a SOX controlled environment, ensuring compliance with SOX, Delegation of Authority & Approval Workflows Key Responsibilities FINANCIAL No budgetary responsibility STAFF No direct reports Creation of Customers & Vendors, including outputs Maintenance of Customer & Vendor data via amendment requests & perpetual housekeeping Creation & management of sales pricing conditions Submit/manage requests for material creation to global Master Data Team Comply with Master Data life cycle Create/Change/Delete processes & develop strategies working with key stakeholders to improve efficiency Work directly with internal business partners to ensure data submissions are compliant with internal audit & SOX requirements Perform secondary input checks as per SOX controls Adhere to PSS processes & procedures Comply with Audit requirements for Master Data controls & access Maintain data quality standards Skills & Knowledge Thorough and meticulous with extreme attention to detail Self-disciplined to follow documented instructions Data entry skills and experience Experience using Excel and Word Ability to escalate issues and identify process improvements Good communication skills responding to queries from across the business Good interpersonal skills within a team SAP master data transaction experience Experience maintaining data with a high level of data accuracy Knowledge & previous experience of workflow systems Knowledge of the new customer / new vendor process ADZN1_UKTJ
