About the role: The Marketing team sits within the Strategy and Corporate Development function and sets strategic direction and implements marketing plans for Liquidity's business globally.
The team is responsible for building and protecting our brand, making our investment capabilities the market's preferred choice, while analysing return on investment to evolve and inform future initiatives.
This position will play a key role in crafting and executing on high-impact brand and growth initiatives out of our European HQ in London, but Abu Dhabi/Tel Aviv might also be an option.
As a VP strategic communications, you will be expected to play a multifaceted role driving global and regional marketing campaigns or initiatives aimed at supporting objectives defined by our global business goals.
Projects will include (but are not limited to) proactively leading media campaigns and delivering high-impact outcomes to grow our 'share of voice' in the media.
Strategic communications will span from narrative and message development, storytelling, digital media, sponsorships, events, and management of an external PR agency involving alignment on development of press materials directed at B2B and media worldwide.
You will work directly with the C-Suite and partner with Liquidity business leads globally.
Responsibilities: Develop comms and content strategy, oversee development of content and partner with cross-functional teams on execution Plan, strategise and manage media relations activities in coordination with external PR agency to build greater knowledge and recognition of the firm's brand and business lines (including but not limited to ideas and storylines for media interviews and placements of articles, development of press materials, media statements and briefing documents for spokespeople, planning and execution of roundtables, media and brand events) Develop a full range of digital and social media strategies to optimise use of existing content and media activities/campaigns, including long-term business priorities and branding campaigns Develop, cultivate and maintain productive working relationships with the media (print/broadcast/digital) Introduce metrics for all communications/campaigns and report on efficiency and effectiveness; budget coordination for assigned channels Work with our Financial Institutions Group team to supercharge fundraising with investor materials and targeting Lead, enable and inspire a diverse and hard working team Qualifications: 10+ years of marketing and corporate communications Solid knowledge of investment management industry Media relations experience, including pitching stories that support business objectives Excellent communication skills, including the ability to facilitate communication of complex technical ideas in a clear and concise manner Driven and self-motivated with an ability to work independently when needed and as a core part of cross-functional teams.
Highly detail oriented with excellent time-management and communication skills Strong organisational and project management skills, including the ability to manage a large number of projects simultaneously Team player mentality, collaborative mindset with the ability to comfortably interact with senior executives, investors and business leads Drive for results and ability to perform well under pressure against tight deadlines Strategic and creative thinker with the ability to proactively take on tasks and make a contribution beyond the scope of one's own role Experience working in asset management or financial services- an advantage Experience in Fintech, Private Credit or Venture Capital- an advantage Digital marketing experience- an advantage
