Marketing Specialist - Crop Science
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
• Taking a strategic approach to executing marketing communications with a well-thought-out plan, that conveys brand message and engages the target audience to maximise the sales of Bayer products
• Manage the creation and implementation of communications activities to support campaigns, working across all communications channels
• Ensure efficient spend on multi-channel communications and external resources, services, tools and media – optimise ROI on spend and accurately administer budget, purchase orders and invoicing where necessary
• Managing marketing technology platforms such as: digital analytics, email marketing automation (Marketo), workflow management, website
• Work within the newly developed campaign framework, connecting with key stakeholders
• Create effective campaign briefs, clearly defining the purpose of the campaign, SMART objectives, and clearly defining the messaging and USP's
• Ensure that communications are executed towards an audience strategy, that involves a deep understanding of the target audience, crafting and tailoring approaches to reach the target audience most effectively
• Establish and report on measurable metrics that provide insights into audience engagement, business impact and ROI
• Working with customer facing squads and innovation enablement squads to create communications messages that deliver UPS's and campaign impact
• Investigate, plan and drive innovative content, aligning with overall brand and marketing strategies • Review, edit and approve content pieces looking at tone of voice, technical accuracy and legal compliance
• Monitor and analyse the success of campaigns, content and communications initiatives and recommend improvements
• Working closely with the customer facing squads to understand specific customer needs and customer journey mapping, working in a customer centric tailored approach
• Improving customer experience, through direct connection with the customer experience team or undertaking customer experience activities if required
• Engage with external agency partners, ensuing effective communication to deliver success campaigns
• Stay responsive to changes in market trends and audience needs
• Support internal communications to support delivery of our Ambition strategy and business objectives
• Undertake regular retrospectives, utilising feedback and data driven insights to continuously improve
• Ensure all communications on all channels comply with legal and compliance requirements -Actively supporting the execution of customer experience within the customer facing squads
Who you are:
• Relevant experience in a communications role.
• University Degree Level Qualification, preferably in Marketing & Communications
• Ability to work in a cross disciplinary communications skills set, to deliver a combination of communications activities in a one team approach
• Agricultural knowledge preferred, but not essential, training can be provided
• Experience in budget optimization to ensure cost-effective communication strategies that deliver ROI
• Ability to work in an agile, fast paced environment managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders
