Marketing Manager - Barnstaple There has never been a more exciting time to join the team.
Due to increased business growth, a new opportunity has arisen to join our expanding Smallridge Bros' team.
The position is based at our head office in Barnstaple; but with responsibility, for marketing, across all four depots.
This position can be either full time or part time for the right candidate.
Essential Duties: · Strategic Marketing Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans to promote our range of cutting-edge agricultural machinery.
Collaborate with Sales and Aftermarket teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
· Ensure consistent branding across all marketing Platforms.
Work towards enhancing and maintaining the dealership's image as a trusted provider of quality agricultural machinery.
· Acts as a liaison between the dealership and John Deere marketing personnel and leverage Deere's marketing resources.
· Ensures appropriate marketing and public relations communications for all departments.
· Designing promotional materials for events, demos, sales incentives and job openings, working to a brief or often on your own initiative drawing on your own commercial awareness.
· Creating a quarterly glossy sales newsletter, demonstrating strong copy-writing skills and re-distributing this material throughout the year as high-quality print ads.
· Conduct field visits and interviews to create written and video product testimonials.
· Recording machinery videos and capturing high-quality machinery photography and make content available to the wider sales team.
· Create a visual record of company events and use this material periodically to enhance the brand asset.
· Creating engaging and informative content for our social media platforms, both on behalf of our new machinery sales team and after-market (parts and service) departments.
· Ensures appropriate marketing and public relations communications for all departments.
· Event Coordination: Organize and coordinate events, product launches, and demonstrations to showcase our machinery and foster connections with customers and industry partners.
Skills: · Proficient in the use of social media tools to promote and create brand awareness.
· Website development, management and SEO experienced preferred.
· Proven ability to lead and inspire others.
· Proven ability to communicate effectively one-on-one and within a group.
· Creative writing and innovative ideas.
· Experience with Publisher/InDesign and Photoshop an advantage.
Qualifications: · Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising or related discipline preferred and or Ideally 5+ years' marketing and graphic design experience.
Knowledge: · Familiarity with agricultural products an advantage.
