Gleeson are delighted to be partnering with a market leading law firm in their search for a Marketing Manager to join their team in Birmingham – you will play a lead role in the growth of one of their brands.
Ultimately, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of a best in class marketing campaign plan through an outsourced external agency who will be engaged to acquire clients for every new project.
This is a strategic marketing role which will require an understanding of online and offline campaign building and delivery alongside experience of working within an agency environment.
Please note - our client is looking for someone who is currently operating as a Marketing Manager within a professional services business who has experience working in class action or group litigation.
"What would I be doing day-to-day?" Coordinating the execution of marketing campaigns, working closely with external marketing agencies to ensure that marketing campaigns for project are executed effectively and efficiently from start to finish.
Monitoring spend with the external marketing agency against any agreed budgets.
Creating, maintaining, and conducting analytics for monthly reporting to the management board around the effectiveness of the campaign delivery.
Liaising between the agency and the fee earners to ensure that tasks such as content creation are effectively briefed and prioritised to ensure the most effective outcome.
Liaison with internal stakeholders to develop content strategy for the company's corporate website, including working with the team to build campaign pages which mirror the content being used for each class action campaign by the external agency on their marketing channels.
Liaison with the external agency and internal resource in relation to the sharing of social media posts on the company's corporate account.
"What experience is your client looking for?" Demonstrative B2B and B2C marketing experience – particularly in regard to inbound marketing.
Experience in managing external marketing agencies.
Excellent written and communication skills.
Have a 'can do' attitude, can prioritise well and influence accordingly.
Strong business and commercial acumen.
The ability to work well under pressure.
A good understanding of marketing and digital campaigns.
The interview process for this role will be two-stage – an initial Teams call as a first stage interview, followed by a face-to-face on-site meeting as a second stage which would involve a presentation.
Our client is offering a competitive salary of £50-55k.
You will be required to be in the office 2-3 days per week – they have an office in Birmingham City Centre.
