About Swissklip Swissklip is one of the fastest-growing and most innovative DTC brands in the world (we might be biased) though we hit 8-figures in 2 years and racing beyond that now!
The business is currently US focussed with international plans, and the management and founding team is spread across US, UK and Western Europe.
We're a team of data-first, curated ecommerce experts (multiple successful projects, with over $700M+ in collective experience) and have formed a self-improvement, driven culture of A-players in their respective fields.
We're scrappy and professional.
We're hungry and measured.
We're sure of our direction and flexible to change.
We're going head to head with the 1% of DTC King Kongs.
And our mission?
To conquer the $100 million mark and make our mark on the personal care industry while we're at it.
Our product arsenal includes top-selling products like toenail clippers for thick nails (because regular ones just don't cut it), anti-fungal topicals, teeth whitening foams, and more - we're the secret weapon for the 50+ demographic and above in the U.S. who want to look and feel their best.
And while we know some of the products we sell aren't the 'sexiest' products to sell, we know there's a genuine demand with ineffective solutions, and that's where you come in.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR We're on the hunt for an experienced Marketing Director (or VP of marketing if you're American) who can wear multiple hats and lead our marketing charge with gusto.
We're after a strategic thinker, but absolutely someone who wants to roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty.
We don't have the time nor desire for people sitting on the sideline.
That one's a non-negotiable!
So what would your day to day look like?
We'd still call ourselves a startup, and by no means will you role be the same everyday, but here are some Operational Leadership & 'Player-Coach' Create, own and drive key marketing initiatives.
Be the leader and driver of projects from idea to reality, pushing collaboration across the entire team from our designers to media buyers, video editors to our conversion revenue optimisation experts, agencies to customer service.
Upskill the team around you.
While you will need to be involved in processes as they kick off, we want you to constantly be thinking about how you can step away from the processes you've created to free up more of your time for the next project.
Performance Marketing Wizardry Oversee all paid performance marketing channels in detail - you'll need to show us that you know your CPCs from your ROIs, understand different bid strategies and when to apply them, and can navigate the murky waters of Meta, Google, and beyond.
Provide strategic insights that make our competitors weep and our customers cheer.
SEO Lead our charge to the top of Google and YouTube search results without resorting to any black hat tactics.
You will need to know where to look, how to approach, and have likely managed or overseen successful SEO growth before.
Media & Advertising At the right time, explore uncharted territories for our business like podcasts, digital ads and more.
If there's a new marketing channel to go after, you're ready to explore and either conquer it or confidently rule it out.
Subscription A current gap in our offering - we are looking for someone who has experience with physical product subscriptions (i.e.
not only digital) and how we can expand our offering to increase LTV.
Financials and targets You will need to be used to monitoring the full channel mix of the business, and operating to an MER target.
The right candidate will likely have 'grown up' in paid media, or run accounts themselves in the past.
Brand Storytelling Guru Spin tales that captivate our audience and make our brand unforgettable.
The ideation of the marketing messaging will be your responsibility to come up with.
For example: 'How would you sell teeth whitening solutions and an anti fungal nail product under the same brand?
What messaging connects the two?
What's the customer insight that connects the 2?
Why should the customer care about us?
How do we bring people back into the brand after they've bought one product focussed product, but don't have another problem with anything else we sell?
What more should we offer?
' Hearing these questions should start to make your mind spin with answers and ideas :) WHAT WE NEED Experience 10+ years in marketing roles, with at least 5 years in a senior marketing leadership position or equivalent.
