Known for their collaborative approach and commitment to excellence, they're looking for a talented Marketing & Communications Manager to join their team on a part-time basis, working 3 days a week.
This is a new role within an SME with fewer than 40 employees.
As the first dedicated Marketing professional, you'll have the unique opportunity to establish the marketing function from scratch.
The role sits within the Business Support team of 5 (Finance, Operations, IT, and HR) and reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer.
To succeed, you'll need a broad marketing skillset and the ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution.
You'll work closely with Partners to develop initiatives and will need to influence at a senior level to secure buy-in for marketing investment in a traditionally underdeveloped area of the business.
This role will suit someone who is entrepreneurial, thrives on building systems and processes, and is comfortable working with limited resources to achieve a clear return on investment.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement marketing and communications strategies to enhance brand visibility and support business growth.
Establish and maintain marketing operations, ensuring initiatives align with the company's strategic goals.
Produce and manage marketing collateral, including tender responses, social media campaigns, and digital content.
Leverage digital marketing tools to create impactful campaigns that resonate in the professional services and B2B landscape.
Collaborate with Partners and internal teams to integrate marketing efforts into broader business objectives.
Act as a key point of influence with senior stakeholders to promote the value and impact of marketing within the business.
Ensure compliance with information management principles and relevant regulations.
What We're Looking For: Degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Proven experience in developing and executing marketing strategies in a B2B or professional services setting.
Ability to create business-winning tender responses and other high-quality marketing collateral.
Strong expertise in digital marketing tools, systems, and social media campaign management.
A self-starter who can work independently to establish new processes and systems.
Knowledge of the engineering or construction industry is an advantage but not essential.
