Description The Global Marketing Communications and Channels Leader is responsible for managing the Global Marketing Communications team and all Marketing Channels teams across Agilent.
These teams are responsible and accountable for the successful development and delivery of global marketing campaigns, and for the strategic direction, governance and performance of all marketing channels and their associated infrastructure.The position offers the opportunity to demonstrate leadership, people management, business, marketing, and communication skills by leading a high-performance team dedicated to driving marketing communication and marketing channel strategies, operational excellence,efficiency and return on investment, funnel generation, and an enhanced customer experience.The successful candidate must have proven management experience, outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, excellent project management skills, deep Agilent domain knowledge, and the proven ability to collaborate and engage with management and key stakeholders cross-functionally.The Global Marketing Communications Leader will report to the Commercial Marketing Programs VP.ResponsibilitiesOverall management of the team's communication and channel strategies and plans, ensuring development, delivery, and implementation of all marketing campaign elements on time and budget, and the development and deployment of worldwide channel strategies to generate demand and support order conversion Accountable for the deliverables, performance, and outcomes of the Marketing Communications and Marketing Channels teamsStrategic oversight of regional Marketing Communications teams.
Responsible for leading and working with regional Marketing Communications Managers to identify, implement and govern all worldwide marketing communications infrastructure and processes Drive a "Customer First" mindset, ensuring appropriate focus and utilization of resources across all teams to meet customer needs and Agilent's strategic prioritiesOwn and drive key strategic initiatives for the Marketing Communications and Channels team, such as the development and implementation of social media and Event Management strategies and governance Lead team to achieve and exceed team and individual targets related to marketing and organization goals.
Drive accountability to ensure deliverables and outcomes are met within time and budget requirementsFoster a collaborative approach with stakeholders and partners.
Work across worldwide teams in commercial operations and marketing, segments, and divisions to understand business strategies and align team marketing plans to ensure effective outcomesMeasure and evaluate short- and long-term impacts and return on investment of marketing channelsFoster continuous improvement to drive effectiveness of marketing communications processes and marketing channels, implementing corrective actions as required, to ensure the delivery of outcomes in line with business and management expectationsOversee all people manager related duties such as hiring, performance evaluation and management, expense, and contract approvals.
Identify training and coaching needs for the team to ensure continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Ensure that Agilent Corporate standard business processes are strictly followed by employees, partners, and vendorsQualificationsBachelor's or master's degree or University degree or equivalent and minimum of eight years related experience in marketing, plus seven years of relevant experience as a first level and second level managerDemonstrated management and leadership skills at the worldwide levelin the implementation oforganizational strategies, projects, technologies and processes, developing and managing high-performance teams, and change managementOutstanding organization, planning, problem solving and process management/improvement skillsDemonstrated ability to collaborate effectively throughout all hierarchical levels in an international, matrixed, business environment Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong stakeholder partnerships Ability to deal with high pressure, visibility, and workloadGood knowledge of Agilent products, services,markets, and market dynamics, and understanding of the industry sales process and buying influences of Agilent customersExcellent written and oral English communication skills#LI-PK1The US pay range for this full-time position is $175, - $314,, plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits.
