Our client is a registered charitable Trust with over 60 care homes and 11 extra care housing schemes, they strive to provide the best quality care for all their service users.
Together we are searching for a Marketing Assistant to join their growing team.
The Role The role is junior, making it ideal for a graduate or someone with limited marketing experience seeking to develop their career in marketing.
As Marketing Assistant, you will be supporting the Senior Marketing Manager and the wider Marketing and Communications team.
Key responsibilities include managing digital tasks, social media, and visual marketing collateral such as banners, flyers, and posters.
You'll also oversee artwork, photography, promotional resources for events, and coordinate with external suppliers to ensure timely delivery of print resources.
Additional duties include maintaining the photographic library, creating purchase orders, and handling administrative tasks for larger marketing projects.
The role can also offer opportunities for career progression to positions such as Local Marketing Executive and Regional Marketing Manager, with competitive salary increases for these roles.
It is envisaged that this is a full-time permanent role.
Location This is a hybrid position, requiring two to three days per week in the Oxfordshire office, with no travel to care homes necessary.
Essential Criteria Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent organisational and workload management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Basic knowledge of Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign).
Interest in marketing and a passion for making a positive difference.
Ability to adapt to evolving tasks, demonstrating initiative and proactivity.
The Candidate A motivated individual seeking hands-on marketing experience.
Detail-oriented, with strong multitasking abilities and a proactive approach to learning.
Comfortable handling diverse tasks, from creating purchase orders to managing visual content and coordinating with suppliers.
Effective at building relationships and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
A keen interest in digital marketing and visual media, paired with the desire to grow within the field.
Interview Process This is a 2-stage interview process.
The 1st stage is an informal chemistry call, and the 2nd stage is a formal face-to-face, both with Senior Marketing Manager.
