An opportunity to join one of the UK's leading Tyre manufacturers.

Job Purpose & Essence The job holder will complete varied planning, organising, and administrative activities that arise from the execution of the Kumho marketing plan.

The scope of activities is fairly wide, though the essence is very tight.
This role is about "keeping the show on the road" whilst maintaining compliance with procedure, achieving deadlines, and keeping people in the loop.
It will require somebody with sound common-sense to follow the process and also think beyond the process to identify and resolve potential issues, bottlenecks or challenges.

The role will suit somebody with:
Strong organising and administrative skills, maybe with a job history and employment trajectory in general administration. OR Somebody looking to enter the marketing function and develop foundation-level skills early in their career.
Main duties Invoice Management: Process vendor invoices, resolve queries, and maintain accurate records in ERP systems, including cross-departmental invoices.
Purchase Order Support: Develop and manage the marketing department's purchase order system.
Budget Tracking: Maintain and reconcile marketing expenditure records for budget management and reporting.
Task Coordination: Manage the marketing "job" portal to ensure task completion and adherence to processes.
Sales Team Support: Assist with incentives, competitions, and other requests from the sales team.
Partner Liaison: Coordinate with external partners to execute marketing activities, such as signage and point-of-sale materials.
Merchandise Management: Oversee stock, orders, and despatch for merchandise, including sourcing products and cost comparison.
Event Coordination: Plan and execute live events and exhibitions, including logistics and hospitality arrangements for customers.
Customer Communication: Handle commercial communications, agreements, updates, and market intelligence uploads.
Trend Reporting: Compile and analyse monthly story tracking and report findings.
Sales Order Support: Provide backup support for sales order processing during absences or business-critical needs.
Additional Tasks: Fulfil other reasonable requests to align with business strategy and activities.
Qualifications: Proficient in literacy, numeracy, and written/verbal communication.
Skilled in using spreadsheets.
Essential: Minimum of 2 years of work experience (marketing-related experience desirable).
Valid driving license.
Desirable: Experience with ERP systems and administrative tasks, including creating and following processes/checklists.
Proficient in: Spreadsheets: Performing calculations, creating pivot tables, and presenting data clearly.
PowerPoint: Designing tidy, well-organized presentations using basic features.
Word: Conducting mail merges with Word and Excel.
Power BI: Basic familiarity.
Worked with field-based sales teams or in a commercial environment.
(Tyre industry experience is not required.)
Personal Qualities: Highly organized, methodical, and clear-thinking.
Strong interpersonal skills; able to work well with others and communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
Patient and eager to learn new skills.
