A vacancy exists for a Trainee Marine Pilot based at the Port of Seaham.
Applicants should as a minimum hold a STCW OOW recognised certificate of competency (Deck Officer), an ENG 1 medical certificate, and have relevant ship handling experience.
Previous pilotage experience is an advantage but not essential.
Additional shore-based responsibilities will be required.
Shift work.
