Manufacturing Technician - BulkingRole location: Manchester, UKAs a leading innovator of women's health, we at Hologic are empowering people to live healthier lives everywhere, every day.Our manufacturing and operations teams sit at the core of what we do as a business, combining production, supply chain and operations.As Manufacturing Technician you will join our Manchester Operations team and will be responsible for manufacturing of Bulk solutions and reagents.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES You will be responsible for the formulation of in-process solutions and bulk reagents Record data within batch documentation Open & close work orders and remove items from inventory management systems Perform operation/calibration of general lab/manufacturing equipment Transportation, handling, and disposal of waste and chemicals, liaising with the waste management company KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Knowledge of standard operating procedures, including good manufacturing practices and regulations.
You will have good mathematical skills and ability to convert between units of measure Understanding of the Bulk manufacturing processes, including knowledge of equipment operations, safety protocols, and quality control procedures Understanding of Lean manufacturing practices and their practical application within a continuous improvement culture Excellent organisational and time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks and meet production targets So why join Hologic?We are committed to making Hologic the company where top talent comes to grow.
